Slam Picks is a free, fan-made tennis bracket game. We try to collect as little as possible — just what's needed to run the game and let you find your bracket again. This page explains what that is.

What we collect

  • A display name you choose (shown on leaderboards).
  • Your bracket predictions.
  • Your email address — only if you use email sign-in to save or recover a bracket.
  • A device identifier stored on your device, so your bracket reopens automatically here.
  • Basic, aggregate usage events (e.g. which screens are used) to improve the game.

How we use it

To run the game — score picks, build leaderboards, keep your bracket available across your devices, and email you a sign-in link when you ask for one. That's it. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We rely on a few trusted services to operate: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (sending sign-in emails). Your data is processed by them only to provide Slam Picks.

Cookies & storage

We store a small identifier in your browser and a device cookie so your bracket reopens without a password. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your choices

Clearing your browser storage detaches this device from your bracket (email sign-in can re-attach it). We keep only what's described above, and only while the game is running.

Children

Slam Picks isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
